This book tells the story of a young boy who wakes up every day to find that his leg has lengthened more, can no longer ride his bike, and others are using his legs to hang their commercials. The boy's length symbolizes the distance that millions of children today are from their homelands and their mothers' homes. The unfortunate events in the world but does not deprive him of hope, as we still have a lot of love capable of overcoming all the brutal distances.
