This is a collection of 20 poems each conveying the author's fascination with and special connetion with trees.  It goes through the story of the narrator's life as witnessed by trees. In the first poem the narrator is a baby held in mother's arms looking up to an elm tree under which they are resting. From there the poems progress through the narrator's life and growth as witnessed by the trees. Safoura Nairi was motivated to write this collection of poems when she could not find a book of poetry that she would want to read to her own children.
